Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14:
The disciples ask Jesus who is the greatest in God’s kingdom. Jesus responds by pointing to a child. Those who are great in the eyes of God are humble and trusting like a little child. As illustrated in the parable, they also put care and concern for the lost and those who have strayed above all else.
It is your will, Lord God, that I put on these attributes of discipleship. Be with me for I cannot do it without you.
