John 20:19-23:
In the first reading from the Acts of the Apostles, we hear about the people gathered who, though they speak different languages, they understand the preaching of the Spirit-filled apostles. In the second reading, we are reminded that we are “one body.” Jesus is suddenly with the apostles in today’s Gospel. He offers them mercy and peace and sends them forth to do the same.
Spirit of the living God, we are so much in need of you protecting us leading us, guiding us. The world is so dark, but we know your light shines through.
